In Denmark, more than a hundred infections with a new type of coronavirus have been confirmed over the past 24 hours. The total number of infections reached 1,577 cases, according to the Office of Patient Safety on March 24. It is specified that the days previously infected were 1,450 people, thus 117 new cases were detected. 301 people were hospitalized, 69 patients were placed in intensive care units. 32 persons died. Danes are tested in cases where they have symptoms of the disease or their health is weakened. Therefore, coronavirus carriers of the new type may actually be larger. According to the news agency, the Danish authorities 14 imposed a ban on the entry of foreigners since 1 March, closed educational institutions and recommended that residents not gather more than 10 people.
