In Poland, proposed to tighten control over immigrants

Former Polish Foreign Minister, and now a member of the European Parliament, Witold Waszczikowski, said that the EU needs to create more serious mechanisms for monitoring and tracking immigrants. It is reported by Polskie Radio 24. If immigrants already reach Europe, we need to create serious monitoring and tracking mechanisms: who they are, whether they threaten our countries if they are allowed to enter, said Vashchikovsky. The politician also emphasized that it is necessary to strengthen the protection of the external borders of the EU, and immigrants who get by sea to be saved, but sent back: We must save refugees who can drown by reaching Europe. But then we should not bring them to our countries, but send them back to their countries of origin. Aid to Africa needs to be increased. We do it as much as we can afford. The MEP also states that it is necessary to deal with the migration crisis, starting from its roots, and not with the consequences, that is, to help the Third World countries so that they do not have to leave there. Further, the ex-minister wonders: will the reception of millions of people from another continent, another culture not lead to a complete change not only in the demographic, but also in the cultural, social and political landscape of the European continent. This question may not be entirely politically correct, and people in Europe are very reluctant to talk about it, he said. Recall that on Monday, September 21, Polish Ambassador to the EU Andrzej Sados said that he opposed the forced admission of refugees for the countries of the Union, and also proposed to improve Brussels's migration policy.
