On the site of a residential building in Batumi, named by local residents Luzhkov's house, it is planned to build a complex of three skyscrapers. This is reported by Batumelebi. It is planned to house shops, office buildings, hotels and restaurants. It is reported that the unfinished house Luzhkov company purchased for $26 million. Earlier, the building on this site began to be built in the early 2000s. It was a multi-storey residential building. There were rumours among the population that the construction organization allegedly belonged to the wife of former Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov Elena Baturina, although this information had no official basis. The building was not completed, but it has already begun to be populated. After 2008, when the then head of Ajaria Aslan Abashidze fled the Georgian authorities, the building was resold several times, and it was never finished.
